Is singing your hobby, or maybe you want to practice singing in a fun way?

If so, try out Ultrastar - a free singing game for PC. It is targeted both to the beginner and more advanced singers as it lets you sing your favorite songs on various difficulty levels with instant feedback about your performance. All you need is some microphone and you are good to go!

Ultrastar

There are multiple versions of Ultrastar-like games available:

There are some differences between them in the terms of supported features. On this website in tutorials we will focus on the set of features mostly from the Ultarstar Worldparty distribution.

Adding songs

The awesome feature of the game is that it lets you add your own songs. They need to be mapped to the Ultrastar format first though. You can either find the files online or create your own file using multi-platform Karedi editor:

Don't worry if you have never created any songs for Ultrastar. You will find a full tutorial for absolute beginners on this Wiki!
